Supporting your breastfeeding experience

I am a private Lactation Consultant, operating out of Palmerston North, but covering the Manawatu and beyond.

My passion is to empower each mum that I help with the skills to breastfeed their baby, and ensure they feel confident in their abilities to nurture their child.       

I believe that mothers know their babies best, and with the right support and encouragement that they are able to continue their breastfeeding journey.

I have a special interest in tongue and lip tie, and work alongside a GP in Palmerston North who clips anterior tongue ties, posterior tongue ties and lip ties (no age restriction).

How can I help?

There are many issues that a new mother can face with breastfeeding and sometimes its just a little change that makes a big difference. Issues such as:

- Mastitis

- Low Weight Gain

- Tongue Tie

- Lip Tie

- Sore Nipples

- Relactation

- Expressing

- Transitioning Off Nipple Shields

- Engorged Breasts

- Oversupply

- Thrush

All these things and more can cause pain, stress and effect your breastfeeding experience.

There are a lot of options with dealing with these issues. I use my vast experience and education to get to the real problem that is causing so many issues.

Often, a simple change can make a huge difference.
